TV actress Mouni Roy, who made a successful transition to Bollywood, has some exciting projects in her pocket. She recently signed Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s “Bole Chudiyan” also. However, the latest we hear that the actress is no longer a part of the film.

Mouni Roy surprised everyone when she bid adieu to her successful television career and made a crossover to movies. What was even more surprising for some people was the fact that she debuted in a film opposite none other than superstar Akshay Kumar. Her debut film Gold (2018) turned out to be a hit at the box-office and, in no time, she had a long list of filmmakers queuing up in front of her door.

After the success of Gold, Mouni Roy signed back-to-back films, including Romeo Akbar Alter, Brahmastra and Made In China. A couple of weeks ago, she was also confirmed for yet another Bollywood film called Bole Chudiyan. The movie stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead roles and marks the directorial debut of his younger brother, Shamas Siddiqui. Roy’s fans were really happy to know that the actress bagged a film opposite versatile actor Nawaz so early in her career.

However, the bad news for her fans is that Mouni Roy is no longer a part of Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Bole Chudiyan. Yes, you heard that absolutely right! The actress has walked out of the project, saying she never even signed it. However, the makers of the film have something different to say about her exit from the project.

According to reports, producer of Rajesh Bhatia found the actress very unprofessional as she wanted to allocate Bole Chudiyan’s dates to some other project. On the other hand, the spokesperson of Mouni Roy says that there were a series of discrepancies in the contract given to her and she never even signed it.

When producer Rajesh Bhatia was contacted, he confirmed the development.
