For the uninitiated, Rajkumar Hirani, the director of heart-warming, family-oriented movies, was accused of sexual assault by a woman, who had said Hirani sexually abused her on more than one occasion over six months between March and September 2018. Hirani denied all the allegations, responding through his lawyer Anand Desai.

The incident happened amid the controversy surrounding the MeToo movement, which hit against many big names in Bollywood like Alok Nath, Rajat Kapoor, Nana Patekar, Vikas Bahl, and Sajid Khan to name a few.

On the work front, Sanjay Dutt will soon be seen in the period drama Kalank which also stars Madhuri Dixit Nene, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, and Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is all set to release on April 17.
