Salman Khan Shows Interest In Sooraj Barjatya’s Next

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have previously worked on several iconic movies such as “Maine Pyar Kiya”, “Hum Aapke Hain Koun” and “Hum Saath Saath Hain”.

Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya have given us some of the biggest blockbusters of Hindi cinema, including Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), Hum Aapke Hain Koun (1994) and Hum Saath Saath Hain (1998). They are known as one of the most successful actor-director duos of Bollywood. Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya last worked together on their 2015 family entertainer Prem Ratan Dhan Payo which was also a huge hit at the ticket window.

Rumours have been doing the rounds lately that Salman Khan is set to star in Barjatya’s next film. Now, the filmmaker has himself confirmed that the superstar indeed has shown interest in his next movie. He revealed the big news while talking to a news agency.

Barjatya said that he is presently writing his next film and Salman Khan has liked the ideas. However, fans will have to wait a little longer to see the actor and the director reunite as their collaboration is not going to happen very soon. The filmmaker said that the script will be completed in two years and it will be in his space which includes drama, family, and emotions.

However, the director revealed that he is currently focusing on the directorial debut of his younger son Avnish Barjatya. It will be a complicated lover story. Avnish was set to begin his directorial career with Salman Khan in late 2017. However, Sooraj Barjatya held back to guide him before he takes the plunge. Now, Avnish is set to commence his directorial inning.

When asked about Khan’s presence in the film his son is going to helm, the filmmaker said that Avnish has Salman Khan’s blessings. He said that every filmmaker should try to make a film of their age group and what they believe in. More details on the upcoming films are awaited.
