Saif Ali Khan & Alaia Furniturewala’s “Jawaani Jaaneman” Locks A New Release Date

The Saif Ali Khan and Alaia Furniturewala starrer Jawaani Jaaneman, which was earlier slated to hit the marquee on 29^th November 2019, has now locked a new date for its theatrical release worldwide. The Nitin Kakkar directorial will now enter cinemas on 7^th February, 2020.

Jawaani Jaaneman marks the acting debut of former model and actress Pooja Bedi’s daughter Alaia Furniturewala. Apart from Saif Ali Khan and Alaia Furniturewala, Jawaani Jaaneman also features seasoned Bollywood actress Tabu in an important role. Tabu and Saif Ali Khan are reuniting onscreen after a massive gap of two decades. The duo was last seen together in Rajshri Productions’ blockbuster family entertainer Hum Saath Saath Hain (1998). However, the two were not romantically paired opposite each other in that film.

According to reports, director Nitin Kakkar had a special promotional song on mind which he wanted to shoot with Saif Ali Khan. Since the song required the actor to be in a specific look, the team decided to shift the release date of the film and wait. “The director needs to shoot a promotional song for the film with Saif that also requires him to don a particular look. However, Saif is currently shooting for his next web series Tandav and has a packed schedule. Because of this the movie has been pushed from Nov 29,” a source had earlier informed a popular entertainment website.

Jawaani Jaaneman features Saif Ali Khan in the role of a father of a teenage girl, played by Alaia Furniturewala. Tabu is playing his ex in the movie. By shifting the release date to 7th February, the film will now get a solo release. Jawaani Jaaneman is co-produced by Saif Ali Khan in association with Pooja Entertainment. So, do not forget to catch the film in cinemas on 7^th February, 2020.
