In fact, the showers of monsoon have been featured in most of the iconic romantic scenes from classic Pyaar Hua Ikraar Hua moment in Raj Kapoor’s starrer Shree 420 to Aashiqui 2, featuring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur. In Bollywood, rain and romance are inseparable partners.

On the contrary, the rain has been playing a remarkable part in death scenes, for example, the much-loved family drama Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji starrer Hum Tum featured the showers of monsoon in the scene of separation when the pair fight with each other and part away after that.

Apart from setting the tone for scenes, the rain sometimes plays a character when it comes to embracing the new things and letting the old go.
