Priyanka Chopra Pens Heartfelt Note After Receiving Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award

Priyanka Chopra expresses her heartfelt appreciation after UNICEF bestowing her with the honour.

Yesterday, Priyanka Chopra was honored with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball. The international superstar is affectionately known as Goodwill Ambassador of UNICEF who has devoted herself to social work.

The Sky Is Pink's actress then pen a heartfelt note in her social media account to express her appreciation.

Her post read: "So incredibly humbled. Thank you @unicefusa for honouring me with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in December! My work with @unicef on behalf of all the world's children means everything to me.. Here's to peace freedom and the right to education.. #ForEveryChild."

Last month, Priyanka visited Ethiopia and spread the inspiring stories to the whole world through her social media. Her work not only touched a million hearts but also made Inda proud of her.

Husband Nick Jonas then wrote on his Instagram: "Priyanka Chopra is so inspiring to me and so many people around the world every day. The work she does with UNICEF is incredible. #proudhusband." Along with the post, he shared the picture in which Priyanka was surrounded by smiling kids.

However, when everyone applauded Priyanka work, an Indian user asked: "What about our motherland?"

In response, Priyanka Chopra calmly answered: "I believe a child is a child and we all are global citizens and we need to care about the future of children all over the world. I have worked with UNICEF in India for many years and will continue to do so."

On the work front, the actress will soon to be seen in the silver screen with Farhan Akhtar in The Sky Is Pink. Yesterday, she was spotted at the film's wrap-up party with a knee brace.
