Priyanka Chopra shot down rumors her marriage with Nick Jonas is on the rock, explained the reason she skipped his performance at VMAs.

Recently, Nick Jonas was spotted attending MTV Video Music Awards 2019 alone without wife Priyanka Chopra. Netizen then come out with hilarious memes on his awkwardly fifth-wheeling situation when Best Pop Video called out Jonas Brother for their superhit Sucker. However, as PeeCee was absent from the event, rumors started floating that their marriage is on the rock.

But now putting all the rumors to rest, The Sky Is Pink actress opened up about the reason she couldn't attend VMAs with Nick Jonas.

When it was announced that Jonas Brother won the award, while Kevin and Joe Jonas were congratulated by their wives Danielle Jonas and Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, camera caught moment Nick Jonas sighed to himself. "I think Nick felt really bad that he was there and I was unwell," Priyanka gave a piece of her mind.

Later, the former beauty queen even joined the Internet and lovingly trolled her husband for his reaction at VMAs as she photoshopped herself into the viral picture.

In a recent interview, when being asked about her future plan, the 37-year-old actress revealed that buying a home and having a baby is on her to-do list.

On the work front, the actress will soon to be seen in Shonali Bose's The Sky Is Pink alongside Farhan Akhtar which is slated to hit the cinema on 11 October 2019.
