Aamir Khan Is To Star In A Bollywood Remake

For the uninitiated, Forrest Gump owned six Oscars awards, comprising of Best Director, Best Actor for Hanks and Best Picture. Helmed by Robert Zemeckis, the film was based on a novel’s namesake written by Winston Groom. It talks about the life story of a dim whose life reflects essential events of the US in the previous century.

Speaking of Khan, he was last seen in the film Thugs of Hindostan, which received a lukewarm response from the audiences. The actor, in an interaction with media, revealed that he had to lose 20kg for this role. "I have to be lean and slim," the star said, adding that the film will go on floors in October.
