Before Bharat, Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan have worked together in numerous movies such as Ek Tha Tiger, Yuvvraj, Partner, Tiger Zinda Hai, and many others. Also, this is the third collaboration of Salman Khan and director Ali Abbas Zafar after two successful films Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.

Bharat is a remake of a Korean movie named An Ode To My Father which depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man. Salman's character will see a journey from 27 years to 65 years in the movie. The trailer of Bharat was released on the occasion of Republic Day this year and made everyone impressed by Salman Khan's daredevil act. The film has been shot in different locations such as Malta, Abu Dhabi, Delhi and Punjab. Helmed by director Ali Abbas Zafar and also featuring Disha Patani, Tabu, and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles, the film is all set to hit the cinemas on Eid 2019.
