Kangana Ranaut Announces Her Next “Dhaakad”, A High-Octane Action Entertainer

After the humongous success of “Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi” earlier this year, Kangana Ranaut feels that her next “Dhaakad” will be a turning point for Indian cinema as far as female-led action movies are concerned.

Kangana Ranaut, who is presently busy promoting her upcoming film, Judgemental Hai Kya, has announced her next. The three-time National Film Award-winning actress will next be seen in an out-and-out action entertainer titled Dhaakad, which is slated to hit the marquee on Diwali 2020.

Along with announcing the film, Kangana Ranaut also unveiled the first look poster of her next earlier today. In the poster, the powerful actress can be seen ready for battle, standing in the middle of a burning set, with a gun in both hands. If the first look of the film is anything to go by, Kangana seems set to fight an army of villains on her own.

Sharing more details on the project, the actress said,

Well-known ad-filmmaker Razneesh Ghai has been signed on to call the shots for Dhaakad, which is set to roll early next year. It will be produced by Sohel Maklai Productions and Asylum Films and co-produced by Qyuki Digital Media. Dhaakad is scheduled to enter cinemas on Diwali 2020.

Kangana Ranaut’s Judgemental Hai Kya, also featuring Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, is set to release on 26^th July. The film is produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shailesh R Singh under the banners of Balaji Motion Pictures and Karma Media & Entertainment.
