"Kalank" Trailer Is Out: Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan’s Film Is An Intense Drama. Watch Video!

Trailer of Kalank, one of the most-awaited films of this year, is finally out. It released with the presence of an all-star ensemble cast including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, and Aditya Roy Kapoor. The teaser has given fans a sneak peek of the epic love saga between Zafar (Varun Dhawan) and Roop (Alia Bhatt) which was set in the pre-partition period.

The makers also launched three songs of the film post the teaser. The melodious title track of the movie, composed by Pritam and performed by Arijit Singh, was released last week and became a hit instantly. It also made it to the top trending list on Youtube. Two more songs First Class (featuring Kiara Advani and Varun Dhawan) and Ghar More Pardesiya (featuring Madhuri Dixit and Alia Bhatt) also garnered an overwhelming response from the audiences worldwide.

The trailer launch event witnessed the attendance of the entire cast and the film’s crew. Alia, Varun, Aditya, Sanjay, Madhuri, Sonakshi were seen in presence. Varun and Alia were turning hosts of the special event.

Kalank’s trailer provides a glimpse of the story of  Zafar, Roop, Dev, Satya,  Begum Bahaar, and Balraj and it is bound to leave fans excited.

Helmed by Abhishek Varman, Kalank is a dream project of the father of Karan Johar. Before the trailer was launched, Karan, who is the film’s producer, had shared a heartfelt note for Kalank. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on 17 April 2019. Stay tuned for more updates!
