"Kabir Singh" Trailer: Shahid Kapoor Makes Impression As An Alcoholic Doctor And A College Rebel

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh is a Hindi remake of the Telugu superhit movie Arjun Reddy. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the leads.

Shahid Kapoor, who was last seen in Shree Narayan Singh’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu, is now gearing up for his upcoming film tilted Kabir Singh. The trailer of the much-awaited movie was revealed on Monday, which made everyone impressed by Shahid Kapoor’s two avatars, a college rebel and an alcoholic doctor.

The trailer starts with Shahid as a drug-snorting and alcoholic doctor with serious anger issues, who is trying to forget the love of his life Preeti (played by Kiara Advani) and takes the route of self-destruction. In the next scene, we can see Kabir Singh’s other avatar as a college student. We know how Kabir meets his lady love and how he falls head over heels in love with her. For those who don’t know, Kabir Singh is an official remake of the Telugu superhit Arjun Reddy starring Shalini Pandey and Vijay Deverakonda in the leads. The story is about a successful doctor who then becomes self-destructive as getting to know that his girlfriend is forced to get married with someone else. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also helmed the original film, Kabir Singh is all set to hit the cinema on 21^st June, 2019.
