John Abraham, who has been a part of several action entertainers in the past, will stay away from the action for a couple of weeks. Why? Well, the actor has hurt himself badly while filming an action sequence for his forthcoming film, Pagalpanti. He has been advised to take rest and not shoot any action sequences for the coming weeks.

Pagalpanti, directed by Anees Bazmee, is an out-and-out comic-caper. Besides John Abraham, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’Cruz, Kriti Kharbanda and Urvashi Rautela in important roles. Bhushan Kumar and Kumar Mangat Pathak are bankrolling the comic-caper under their banners T-Series Films and Panorama Films respectively.

John Abraham was shooting for a simple action sequence when the action star injured his arm. Now, he will not be able to work for more than two weeks, as per reports. The incident took place in Mehboob Studio in Mumbai. The actor was shooting on a truck. Unfortunately, something went wrong and he suffered a muscle tear in his arm. Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’Cruz and Kriti Kharbanda were also present on the sets of the film.

Kumar Mangat Pathak, who is co-producing the film with Bhushan Kumar, confirmed the news.

May good health envelop John Abraham, spurring a quick recovery! We hope he resumes the shoot soon. Pagalpanti is set to enter theatres on 22nd November 2019.
