22 Years Of "Ishq": Kajol And Ajay Devgn Have An Adorable Way Celebrating The Anniversary Of Their Film

Kajol and Ajay Devgan are the most solid testament to the fact that opposites attract. In spite of having totally different personalities, the two tied the knot and they have now been married for two decades. The couple walked down the aisle after four years in a relationship.

As said by the two, their romance wasn’t love at first sight. Ajay and Kajol naturally became close and then realize that they were meant to be. They got hitched in 1999 and gave birth to their firstborn Nysa four years after. The couple then was blessed with their second child. Their son Yug was born in 2010.

Recently, Ajay Devgan took to social media a photo from their popular movie Ishq with the quote from its famous track Neend Chuayi Meri Kisne O Sanam.

To this, Kajol made a cheeky response as she shared a snap of herself sleeping soundly from the same movie and she captioned it,

The romantic flick went on floors back in 1997 and the flick featured Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgan, Kajol, and Juhi Chawla as the main roles. Ishq got warm reactions from the audience and it stood the third rank among the highest-grossing movies of the 1997 year.

Apart from being the first and last movie that featured the said brilliant actors, Ishq also marked the last flick wherein iconic duo Juhi Chawla and Aamir Khan collaborated on screen. In the near future, Ajay and Kajol Are going to be seen side by side in the upcoming movie Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.

The two actors’ marriage back in 1999 was a traditional Marathi wedding. He didn’t hire any professional photographer to the affair as Ajay aspired to take the photos himself and to keep their grand event private.

Since she got married and then became a mom, actress Kajol has kept her mother duties a priority above everything else. Therefore, she has refused a lot of film offers after she has kids.

Lately, Kajol did not attend the Tanhaji’s trailer launch as she was busy going to the school meeting of daughter Nysa in Singapore.
