Ishaan Khatter To Romance Anaya Panday In Ali Abbas Zafar’s Next?

After Dharma Productions’ Dhadak (2018), Ishaan Khatter has not announced any new film officially. Though his name has been linked to several high-profile projects in the past few months, including the much-talked-about web-series on the popular novel, A Suitable Boy, to the next directorial venture of acclaimed filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, the actor has never admitted signing any one of them.

However, if recent reports are to be believed, Ishaan Khatter has given his nod to filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar’s maiden production venture. Yes, you heard that right!

After delivering a series of successful films like Sultan (2016), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Bharat (2019), Zafar is taking a plunge into film production. The latest update on the untitled project is that the filmmaker has roped in newcomer Ananya Panday to play the female lead opposite Ishaan Khatter in his movie.

While no official confirmation has been made on the same, insiders reveal that the project has been locked and Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday have come onboard to play the lead pair in it. Varun Sharma, who has previously assisted Ali Abbas Zafar on several films, will be making his directorial debut with the said project. Other details are under wraps. But this is indeed going to be an interesting project as the audience always loves to watch fresh pair on celluloid.

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday, who made her acting debut with Dharma Productions’ Student Of The Year 2, is currently shooting for B.R. Studios and T-Series Films’ Pati Patni Aur Woh with Kartik Aaryan and Bhumi Pednekar in Lucknow. She is in talks for several other films also, but nothing is finalized as of now.
