On International Tiger Day, Amitabh Bachchan expressed his happiness on the increasing number of tigers on social media.

On the occasion of International Tiger Day, Bollywood veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who is quite active on social media, took to his Twitter to express his happiness on the growing number of tigers over the past few years.

Sharing along with a promotional video from his campaign, the megastar wrote,

For those who don’t know, Amitabh Bachchan has been an ambassador of Maharashtra for its tiger conservation project since 2015. Throughout the years, the megastar has considerably contributed in raising awareness among the citizen of the state towards the preservation and protection of tigers as well as promoting tiger tourism in Maharashtra.

Talking about his mission to save the big cats, Amitabh Bachchan affirmed,

Apart from Amitabh Bachchan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also talked about protecting the tigers on International Tiger Day. During his speech, he mentioned Salman Khan's movies Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai and said that we should feel satisfied because the number of tigers is on the rise in the country and all around the world.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in Brahmastra. Touted as Ayan Mukerji's most ambitious triology, Brahmastra is a supernatural romantic film, also starring Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Mouni Roy, Dimple Kapadia and Nagarjuna. The film is slated to hit the cinema around Christmas. Plus, he also has Jhund, Chehre and Gulabo Sitabo in his kitty.
