Bollywood star Ranveer Singh recently stated that he was born to do Gully Boy and needless to say, his recent video on Instagram proves it. Ranveer can perfectly perform rap verses from his film even when stuck in traffic.

The Simmba star, in a video posted on Tuesday, is singing Apna Time Aayega, an electric song from his forthcoming film. However, the focal point is that he is not at any promotional event but getting stuck in traffic right in his car.

The song released on Monday and set the Internet on fire right after that. Fans of Ranveer heaped praises on his endeavour in the movie and cannot stop applauding how fiery the song is. For the record, the song collected more than 1 lakh views after only half hour of the release. It also confirms that Ranveer Singh can nail any kind of character that he plays on screen.

The over-2-minute song gives the audience a glimpse of the world of Gully Boy. Similar to Asli Hip Hop, Apna Time Aayega, composed by DIVINE and Dub Sharma, possesses its own charm. For the uninitiated, the song’s lyrics are written by Ankur Tewari and DIVINE.

Ranveer will play a title role as a rapper from Mumbai in the movie which also features Alia Bhatt, Vijay Raaz, and Kalki Koechlin in the lead.

Ranveer, who plays an underground rapper in the film, in a recent interview had revealed that he is attached to his character’s story.

Gully Boy is slated to hit the theatres on 14^th February.
