Dibakar Banerjee Calls His Experience Of Working With The Duo Surprising

Ask Dibakar Banerjee about his experience of working with Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, and he says that it was very surprising because he thinks they had also made up their minds that this would be a very different experience and came prepared for it and very surprisingly they had none of the juvenility that he generally associates with Bollywood and its trappings. They were quite adults, says the filmmaker.

The filmmaker goes on to add that Arjun worked his pants off trying to get the character, diction the body language right. Parineeti gave her whole heart and soul into her character, which goes through some intense and shattering experiences.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar To Release On 20th March After An Inordinate Delay

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has faced an inordinate delay in its release. It was done and ready long ago and was originally slated to enter theatres in 2018 itself. But the makers kept pushing it ahead for a variety of reasons. Now, the film is set to release on 20th March. Talking about the same, Dibakar Banerjee says that relieved would be an understatement. He is overjoyed. He adds that people who see Hindi films should see what Arjun and Parineeti are capable of.

The filmmaker reveals that they were planning to finish the film and release it in 2018 but because of the shoot getting pushed the film finished somewhere in 2019, and in that year, they did not get any good dates to release it and thought early 2020 would be the best.
