Deepika Padukone Gets Annoyed When Vicky Kaushal Keeps Calling Her 'Bhabhi'

Vicky kept calling her ‘bhabhi' which annoyed her and the actress told him to stop calling her that but Vicky continued to tease her, making the audiences laughing at their banter.

Bollywood awards shows are always full of entertainment, masala, dances and lots of playful digs. Recently, some videos from Zee Cine Awards made the rounds on the internet in which hosts Kartik Aaryan and Vicky Kaushal asked Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh to recreate their wedding and even take the seven ‘pheras’ at the event.

Deepika Padukone won the Best Actress Award for her outstanding role in Padmaavat and her hubby Ranveer Singh also received the Viewer Choice Awards for Best Actor in the same film at Zee Cine Awards. When the lovebirds went on the stage together, Vicky and Kartik took a playful dig at DeepVeer’s wedding as they photoshopped themselves into their wedding photos and performed the saat pheras on the stage.

Vicky even kept calling her ‘bhabhi’ (sister-in-law) which annoyed her and the actress told him to stop calling her that, but Vicky ignored and continued to tease her, making the audiences laughing at their banter.

Ranveer and Deepika also retook the pheras. Her ex-boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor was also present at the award show. Unlike most exes, Deepika and Ranbir have still maintained a cordial relationship.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are always one of the most adorable couples in Bollywood. The lovebirds tied the knot in a dream wedding at Lake Como, Italy, on 14 and 15 November 2018 after six years of dating. Since then, their love for each other has always been making fans weak in the knees.

On the professional front, Ranveer Singh is enjoying the big success of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy in which he plays the role of a street rapper in Mumbai. The handsome actor is currently working on getting into the skin of Kapil Dave in Kabir Khan’s ’83. He is also busy with other project tilted “Takht”, which has Karan Johar in the director’s chair. Deepika Padukone will be next seen in ‘Chhapaak’. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the movie is based upon the life of an acid attack survivor named Laxmi Aggarwal.
