Despite the appearance of rising stars and the massive buzz, Coolie No.1 2020 version failed to recreate the success as its original version did.

After several months of waiting, Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan’s first film Coolie No.1 finally released. It turned out to be a hotly anticipated movie but also an overrated one according to a lot of viewers.

The film is currently getting a mixed response from both the audiences and the critics. Starring two of the hottest movie stars at the moment, the film is the remake of the 1995 namesake. Despite the appearance of rising stars and the massive buzz, Coolie No.1 2020 version failed to recreate the success as its original version did. It was unable to appeal to the audience and it can be seen on the average rating score of IMDb.

Coolie No 1 2 — The film is said to be more colorful, fresh, suitable for young audiences but still gets a disappointing rating score

Twitter was flooded with different opinions as soon as Coolie No.1 released but most of them are negative. Amidst it all, Varun and Sara-starrer film has become the second lowest-rated Bollywood film on the well-known online rating website IMDb.

The film even surpassed several box office failures like Himmatwala, Race 3 to reach that bad on the list.

For those who are unversed, the worst-rated movie on this platform remains to be Alia Bhatt-starrer Sadak 2 with only 1.1 stars (out of 10). Coolie No.1’s score is only 1.3.

Meanwhile, the original movie of Coolie No 1 has a much better rating score of 6.4/10. A lot of reviews from the viewers comparing two versions are doing the rounds. Just like the average rating on IMDb, most reviews praised the 1995 film.
