Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar Turns Of Event When Creating A Corner Of An Woeful Rs 700-crore-in-a-year Club

Earlier in 2019, Akshay Kumar has won the title of the highest gross of the year but his collection figure quite made a history of Rs 700 crore in a year.

After a year of effort and hard work, Akshay Kumar has laid the history of box office year-rulers to a new page. He has made himself the only Bollywood actor to hit Rs 700 crore in a year by his enormous success in 2019.

Five years back, the Bhaijaan of Bollywood had created a new club of the box office history when collecting Rs 500 crore in 2015. Salman scored his name to the A-class superstar with two releases of Bahrangu Bhaijaan which had Rs 320.34 crore in the bank and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo achieving Rs 210.16 crore, which made his total grossing of Rs 530.50 crore.

In 2018, following the miracle steps at the box office of Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh also joined the undefeatable Rs 500-crore-in-a-year club with a couple of films including blockbuster Padmaavat earning Rs 302.15 crore and the end-year hit Simmba with a whopping grossing of Rs 240.31 crore. In total, Ranveer’s box-office earnings reached Rs 542.46 crore, made him the second history-creator.

Records are set to be broken, and last year Akshay Kumar has established a new golden page for the B-town history. The prestigious collection club has been pushed to a new foundation of Rs 700 crore in a year. The Khiladi of Bollywood has made it with a quartet of releases in 2019 such as Kesari, Mission Mangal, Housefull 4, and Good Newwz.

Coming to the details, Akshay kick-started his successful note by his highly-appreciated performance in Kesari which fetched home Rs 154.41 crore. In mid-year, he gained another milestone in his acting career with Mission Mangal which has been his first film to enter Rs 200 crore club. He continued his series of box-office success with the third 2019 release Housefull 4 collecting Rs 194.60 crore even when it didn’t receive a lot of positive reviews. The last one was his running film at the box office, Good Newwz, the film has been reported to attract Rs 162.10 crore to the bank and still counting. So Akshay totally crossed the benchmark of Rs 700 crore.
