Bollywood Hot Actress Minissha Lamba Becomes India’s First Celebrity Poker Pro

Remember Minissha Lamba? The pretty girl, who made her Bollywood debut with a sensitive performance in Yahaan, has left the tinsel tower and become a professional poker player. Now and she's currently participating in tournaments worldwide for World Series of Poker.

Minissha Lamba has been missing from the screen for quite some time now. The actress, who was seen in the films like Kidnap and Bachna Ae Haseeno, had also ventured into the TV industry with Tenali Raman.

But the actress has been acing another game - it is none other than poker. Spilling the beans on how she indulged in this passion, the actress said that a friend of hers, who returned from the US, 'randomly' taught her the game during one of the Diwali celebrations.

Initially, Minissha wasn't interested in poker; however, it later gave her a feeling of achievements and triggered her curiosity.

The telly star revealed:

She further added that at this point, she wouldn't sign any project though offers from web and television are coming in. However, she promises to come back to the silver screen for surprising and interesting roles.

Until now, Minissha Lamba has been the first celebrity professional poker player in India. She was a short-time Bollywood sensation who stepped into the glamorous movie industry in 2005 with the Jimmy Shergill-starrer Yahaan. She has also appeared in the eighth season of popular reality show Bigg Boss. Later she came into headlines for her nose-job which was not praised by many of her fans.

Though she might be away from the big screen now the actress surely knows how to hog the limelight, these sizzling pictures are proof.
