Amitabh Bachchan Shares Prayers For Kader Khan's Well-being and Recovery

Comedy king Kader Khan has been admitted to a hospital in Canada on Thursday and is critical. Took to Twitter Amitabh Bachchan hope and pray for his old friend well-being and recovery.

After Kader Khan’s critical health condition broke the news, fans and industry friend has spread hope and pray for him. Kader Khan was admitted to Canada’s hospital after complaining of breathlessness. Took to Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan gave piece of his mind about his ailing friend and prayed him to recover soon.

A fan even shared an old picture of the two together that Amitabh tweeted. “Prayers and duas,” Amitabh Bachchan wrote.

Big B and comedy king Khan teamed up in many projects before such as  Muqaddar Ka Sikandar, Mr. Natwarlal, Suhaag, Coolie, Do Aur Do Paanch and Shahenshah. Beside acting career, Kader is also a screenwriter, he has written dialogues for many films such as Coolie No.1 (1995).

Reportedly, a close source revealed Kader Khan’s condition is not stable as he has to put on a ventilator. However, he is still conscious and able to maintain eye contact, but he has stopped talking. The actor was also diagnosed with pneumonia.

Also, Kader Khan suffers from progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), a degenerative disease that causes loss of balance, difficulty in walking and dementia.

Kader Khan was born in Kabul, Afghanistan on October 22. He is an Afghan-born Indian-Canadian. Kader Khan is affectionately known for comedy role and has become an iconic comedy actor. He made his debut in a role of an actor in Yah Chopra’s Daag (1973). He has appeared in more than 300 films and won the Best Comedian Award by Filmfare 9 times.
