Alia On Kangana Slamming Her For Not Voicing Political Opinions: I Respect Her For Speaking So Candidly

Alia Bhatt said that she does not have the ability to speak as candidly as Kangana Ranaut.

Actress Alia Bhatt, who is riding high on the successes of her latest film Gully Boy, has reacted to Kangana Ranaut’s comments criticising Bollywood actors for not voicing their opinions on the political scenario of India and staying away from social issues at large. On praising Kangana for candidly speaking, Alia said she has an opinion but she would keep it to herself.

Kangana also attacked actor Ranbir Kapoor directly for not taking a stand on the country's politics: "I don't have any intention to join politics or an election campaign of a political party. Many people feel that I want to enter politics but that's not true. There are few actors in our industry like Ranbir Kapoor where he has been seen talking in an interview that 'We have a regular supply of water and electricity at my home so, why should I comment about politics?' But I feel because of this country's people you are living in your luxurious home and you are travelling in your Mercedes so, how can you talk like that? This is irresponsible behaviour and I am not that kind of person."
