Ajay Devgn On Working With Wifey Kajol In "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior": "I Felt Like Home"

Ajay Devgn and Kajol play Taanaji and Savitribai in "Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior". About working with Kajol on the set, Ajay said that it felt like home.

Producer-actor Ajay Devgn worked with his wife, actress Kajol, one more time for the impending film Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The actor recently shared that working her made the set feel like home.

This film will mark Ajay’s 100th movie in his career. On being questioned about how he felt to collaborate with Kajol in this ambitious period project, he answered that he didn’t know what the feeling was as it was like at home to him instead of a movie set. The way the couple behaved there is just like how they behave when they are at home.

Tanhaji

The actor was in a convo with the press at Tanhaji’s trailer launch. Attending the event were his co-actors Sharad Kelkar and Saif Ali Khan along with director Om Raut. Apart from that, co-producers Kumar Mangat, Bhushan Kumar and Rohit Shetty, close friend of Ajay. Kajol could not make it to the occasion as she was in Singapore for the college meet of their daughter Nysa.

Ajay and Kajol have shaken hands in a number of movies such as Dil Kya Kare, U Me Aur Hum and Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha. In the forthcoming movie, the actor portrays the fearless military leader of Maratha while Kajol plays as his wife.

Ajay shared regarding the movie that it is not only his 100th release, it is also a special one as he can play a legendary character like Tanhaji Malusare. He is an amazing warrior and the role boosts his responsibility as an actor. Also, he said it is essential that he portray such roles in the right manner.

The 3D movie’s trailer made the impression that it will comprise a lot of war violence. Ajay can be seen doing mindblowing stunts. Besides, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior simultaneously stars Pankaj Tripathi and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.

Ajay Devgn had worked with Saif before in LOC: Kargil, Omkara and Kachche Dhaagea. On his working experience with Saif Ali Khan, Ajay said that he loves Saif and the two get on very well with each other.

The movie will be out on January 10th next year.
