Ajay Devgn Learns Football As Part Of The Preparation For His Next

Superstar Ajay Devgn has teamed up with “Badhaai Ho” filmmaker Amit Sharma for a biopic based on the life of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim.

Ajay Devgn, who was most recently seen in the Luv Ranjan-produced romcom De De Pyaar De (2019), is set to play one of the most challenging roles of his career.

The superstar is gearing up to start shooting for his next film with Badhaai Ho (2018) director Amit Sharma. To be produced by Boney Kapoor, the untitled film is based on the life of Indian football legend Syed Abdul Rahim. Ajay Devgn is playing Syed Abdul Rahim in the biopic.

Since Devgn is playing a football coach in the film, it requires him to get acquainted with the nuances of the game.

This is the first film where the character that Ajay Devgn plays will age 60 years. In order to ensure that his look looks convincing on the screen, the makers have chosen the best prosthetics available for actors.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn is currently busy shooting for T-Series Films’ patriotic drama Bhuj: The Pride of India. He has also wrapped up the last schedule of his much-awaited home production Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior, which is scheduled for its grand theatrical release on 10th January 2020.
