Aishwarya Rai Recalls How Abhishek Proposed To Her, Calls It A ‘Surreal’ Moment

It is not an overstatement to say that amidst all the love stories of B-town, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s love story perhaps tops the chart. When Abhishek made the proposal to Aishwarya, it made their fans feel on cloud nine. Their love has blossomed since the shoot of the film Guru, and before the movie had been released Bachchan proposed to Rai. Back in the year 2007, when the two headed to New York City ahead of the film’s release, Abhishek went down on his knees, made a proposal of marriage to Aish at the balcony of a hotel and she said “YES”.

Aishwarya, in an interview with Filmfare, recalled the moment when her husband proposed. Answering the question when asked if she still remembers that moment, the actor said,

They then welcomed their first-born child Aaradhya Bachchan. Even though the little girl has not made her debut yet, she is a star already star with a massive following on social media.
