The audiences seem to have a real rollercoaster ride of emotions in the year 2019 with a lot of blockbusters and failures. However, Bollywood movies generally still surpassed our expectations with many top-notch performances in the phenomenal Uri: The Surgical Strike, Gully Boy, Bharat, Super 30, The Sky Is Pink and many others. 2019 is now also ending with a smashing round of Bollywood films like Panipat, Pati Patni Aur Woh, Dabangg.

2020 is right around the corner and promised to be another successful year of the Hindi film industry with a lot of hotly anticipated projects. From Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan to Ajay Devgn, a host of A-listers are leaving no stone unturned to give the audiences an ultimate experience at the theater.

Tanhaji

After garnering a positive response from historical dramas, Bollywood senior Ajay Devgn is coming back with another classic. Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior focuses on the Maratha empire and it also features Kajol and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles.

Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan

The award-winning actor Ayushmann Khurana seemed to have a successful year in 2018 with back-to-back box office hits. It’s not far off the mark to say Ayushmann has never disappointed us with his out-of-the-box choices of film. This is hands down his era.

The actor will be busy in the year 2020 as he will be next seen in the film Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan. The film will be also starring Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta whom he shared the screen space in the film Badhaai Ho.

Chhapaak

The list will not be complete without mentioning the film Chhapaak starring Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone. The film has created quite a buzz ever since the post was unveiled and it is based on the real-life of an acid attack survivor. The film also marks the debut of Deepika as a producer.

Angrezi Medium

The film marks the comeback of Bollywood evergreen actor Irrfan Khan after a long hiatus due to cancer treatment in the UK. Also starring Kareena Kapoor, the film is slated to hit the screens on 20 March next year.

Angrezi Medium is the sequel of the massive hit Hindi Medium and that also stands to the reason that the film soon becomes a hotly anticipated project.

Sooryavanshi

Another big project added in the Rohit Shetty universe which will release next year is none other than Sooryavanshi. The film marks the first collaboration between Akshay Kumar and Rohit Shetty.

Radhe

2020 seems to be a year of big names. Following the success of 2019 blockbuster Bharat, Salman Khan will continue to treat his fan with another hit.

Laxmmi Bomb

After Stree, many audiences are diverting their interest into the comedy-horror Bollywood films and Laxmmi Bomb will fulfill their wish. Starring Akshay Kumar who will transform himself into a transgender woman, the film is expected to take the ticket window by storm.

Other than Akshay, the film also features Kiara Advani who was last seen in the 2019 superhit Kabir Singh.

Laal Singh Chaddha

Starring Bollywood big names Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Laal Singh Chaddha is the remake of American legendary film Forrest Gump. After 2009 global hit 3 Idiots, fans are eager to see this dynamic duo sharing the screen space again.

Thalaivi

Kangana always manages to establish herself as a force to be reckoned with. Whether her Bollywood films go down with the audiences or not, her impact is undeniable.

Sadak 2

The film which stars Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sanjay Dutt revolves around the depression of Ravi (played by Sanjay) and how he helps a woman (played by Alia) encounter with a godman.
